Fantastic Peranakan food here - the Ayam Buah Keluak was a star, not to mention the friendly waitstaff that made our experience so lovely. Very nice food, and service. Satay & sauce were tasty. Enjoyed the ayam buah keluak, and Sambal Tiger Prawns and its tangy sauce. Desserts are well made too - the pulut hitam over panna cotta with the salted coconut cream, and the sago with coconut cream and gula melaka were very yummy. First time dining in this restaurant and staff are very welcoming and pleasant.Posted on Google pei iMay 24, 2026.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The chicken satay promotion (80cents each) caught our attention so we went in for dinner. Ordered the brinjal, ngoh hiang, buttered rice, lemongrass tea & dessert. The chilli on the brinjal was very shiok, ngoh hiang filling was very generous. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. Although the prices were on the steeper side, the quality speaks for itself & we were deeply impressed by their sincere service. Would def recommend!Posted on Google S WongMay 19, 2026.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Generally, this is a great place to bring foreign friends if you want them to try Peranakan food in Singapore. The dishes are generally tasty and enjoyable — not particularly outstanding, but definitely worth the price. The portions are good for sharing, so it’s nice to order a few dishes for the table. The service is superb: very attentive, warm, and friendly throughout the meal. The décor is also beautiful and Instagram-worthy. Another plus is that it’s not too crowded compared to places around 313 Somerset. Overall, it’s worth a try. Simply put, I would visit again if I’m in the area and craving Peranakan food.Posted on Google Doreen TanMay 19, 2026.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
